The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You're Not Popular
Who ordered the endless dissatisfaction?

Popularity is a fickle business, and it’s hard to see why you might gain or lose a “successful” following half of the time. (Fame [or popularity] is not always what you think of it as; there are bad sides, too.) To be honest, it doesn’t matter if you want to be rich, famous, or popular at the high school dance club, because fame can bite you in the a**. (It’s typically never worth it, and it’s never worth indulging in.) Of course, these factors can come into play, but they’re not always relevant in the ways that you may think. You may even become infamous before you have a chance to understand the problem or defend yourself. Hell, you may even find that you never had a chance! (People decide to screw up their “popularity” in a lot of dumb, intentional ways as well.) You and/or your problems become the center of attention, and you’re always required to put on a good face depending on your image. Yes, it’s pain and suffering, but you may even have your defenders. In the end, these are the 10 dumbest reasons why you’re not popular anymore.

Having popularity is mostly about feeling it from within, being popular or not! For example, you can please others by pleasing yourself! It’s mostly a mindset that can not be starved through a sense of justifiable self-satisfaction. However, who bothers with that! We all need validation, and why not make your audience smarter and wiser! And why not simply use whatever audience you can to spread your message with the same propensity as a piece of toilet paper … . In the end, everyone else wins, so why not satisfy them with more losing that can make them feel better about their crappy lives.

The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You’re Not Popular

1. Your Image – Relatability

Depending on your cultural image, you may be able to get away with saying or doing a lot more than your modern counterparts/contemporaries. (Expectations are set in place; however, there are always boundaries obstructing your view.) As long as you’re confident in what you say, the societal standards will not catch up to you as much or as fast; people may even support you and your position. Of course, there’s always room for that folly, but there’s also nothing wrong with a little infamy. Especially if you’re not a fan of culture, it may even be worth the risk to set your image up in a certain way. However, this may be harder to get that “fame & glory.” Furthermore, playing the game is dutiful, and it requires determination, commitment, and dealing with the consequences of your actions. Most of these creations are obnoxious, but some of them make sense if you’re being realistic in how you deal with things like common decency and/or understanding. Now, you can do this, or you can have a stance about giving up.

2. Your Ambition

The more that you try, the more that you will likely fail! (These cliches are occasionally useful, right?) It’s an everlasting tradition, but its tenets are even more ubiquitous. You see, not only will this bite you in the ass, but it will end you if you’re not careful. (Ambition is your drive to be important or to make a difference.) Your popularity, be it good or bad, can create a negative impact on the world. In fact, you may even disappear from people’s minds to the point of a personalized anonymity. If you start out with too much ambition, then you may begin to see your house of cards crumble before you’re even “THERE,” but why stop there. Your reaction to your decline can create another litany of issues that you’re likely to prepared for. I mean, how would it feel if people were out to kill you, right? It may even mean that you’re still being “talked about”; however, it may also mean that others want you to disappear for good, and that’s in spite of your importance. AMBITION is a double-edged sword that you must wield with concern!

3. Your Competence and/or Attractiveness

Your so-called popularity can always come at a high cost; however how much are you willing to spend. (Being a one-hit wonder does not make your lack of planning and talent any less obvious … and/or consistent.) Of course, the epitomal issue at hand is one that most people often forget about, and that’s your actual abilities, your competence and/or skill. If you lack this, then you will have to deal with negative feedback, the distaste of others, and a penchant for creative insults. Others may even find you to be a “hack,” making your way to the top and bottom that much more difficult or challenging. (You cannot always control the misinformation that others go by, too.) It obviously depends on what you’re doing, but, no matter how frivolous your are, there are always downsides and outcomes. So, what this ultimately means is that you can not “fake it to make it” as much as you think unless you have a talent for being a con artist. Even if it comes at a cost, becoming somewhat talented always pays off OR makes a difference.

4. Your Ability to Sabotage

When people tell you to grow up, then it probably means that you’re displaying some childish tendencies that need some fixing. (This is called all sorts of things, but it’s mostly called self-sabotage.) You can obviously do this very easily, but it usually comes at a “high cost.” Of course, it depends on the significance of your personal self-destruction, and there’s always something to lose. (People will likely not understand, but it’s also up to you to make things right and more understandable.) Yes, you’re suffering more because you’re already dealing with something, even though it means that you are already struggling. Does that make sense? We all have to do work here, and it’s obvious that some people deserve the cost of sabotage, especially if they’re being malicious. Now, regardless of the outcome for most of these emboldened people, we can look at sabotage and deserve in a lot of different ways! It’s just that, in spite of your reasoning or intention, sabotaging with certain behaviors can make it worse.

5. Your Decisions/Outcome

Like with life, your writing is guided by intention and what your grammar ends up meaning. (You make decisions!) Of course, you can obviously follow the rules and be more legible, or you can spark some style over substance in some of the worst ways possible, correct? (Maybe your language is too sesquipedalian or your grammar is too complex/complicated.) Some people may understand your simplistic understanding, and they may even understand you better for it. However, that becomes a conflict with how things work out, and your choices to take on something higher than your actual ability or responsibility! In the end, we’re guided by determinism, but we can also understand that we’re — within a more limited context — making decisions. (They’re both true, as cause & effect does not necessarily change the ‘decision-making process.’) On a general level, we make decisions, and these decisions can affect us and those around us. And we can either be the one dealing with popularity issues or the one who doesn’t care about any of it.

The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You’re Not Popular

6. Your “Luck”

Luck has a lot to do with everything around you, but the world around you has an affect on you as well … . Your personal luck simply means that you’re not dealing (or are chancing) with elements that other people are forced to deal with. (If you’re not lucky [good luck] to some degree, then you will likely not be popular or famous.) This can come down to intelligence and being at the right place at the right time. (You can avoid the bad more than others can, and being smart is another attribute of positive or negative “luck.”) However, it’s a simple way of saying that you have a propensity to experience a level of good and/or bad experiences. With this in mind, it’s a vague way to experience life, and it’s likely to affect us all to some degree. But if we’re living our life by chance, then it likely means that we’re relying on luck as well to guide us. So, if we’re having bad enough luck to rely on our bad luck to get us somewhere, then we’re likely to lose or never have any kind of real popularity that amounts to anything that we really want.

The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You’re Not Popular

7. Your Brutality

Maybe you’re not popular anymore; however, why should this even bother you. After all, there are or may be plenty of reasons to not care: the paranoia, the scrutiny, etcetera. You can always make the right decision, but people will likely not care or understand you anyway. (There’s room to go rogue or become a renegade.) Maybe you’re simply a burden to society and have a plethora of issues that create dissonance between you and other (average) people. And maybe you’re simply too ambitious to be understood by the average person. Maybe you want infamy or have changed; it may even be good luck to you. However, subjectivity does not describe everything in reality, as our subjective states are also objective truths. And when push comes to shove, you’re lying to yourself if you have contention towards this. Furthermore, we’re bred for conflict, as not everyone can necessarily come to a consensus. At this point, it’s a matter of having a reasonable solution to fall back on, which is always “complete destruction.”

The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You’re Not Popular

8. Your Intent

This goes to whom it may concern: You’re probably having to deal with at least one problem during your popularity contest along the way. And, at least for the most part, you’re likely to have intentions that come into conflict with other people’s belief systems. Your intention and how you go about it is at least somewhat important, and this has a general effect on your popularity and other things in life. Of course, it’s a matter of what other people intend to do as well, and this can either directly affect you or it can not affect you, right? Maybe you’re the direct intention, and maybe you’re not — it can be open for interpretation … . However, your intention and other people’s intentions can always come into play, which can also affect other people and their popularity. After all, it’s a matter of perspective, but the end result is someone being more or less popular. (It’s an open business.) And if your beliefs and intentions are to become popular or be a crude, unreliable husk, then this may also make you more or less popular overall.

The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You’re Not Popular

9. Your Utility (Competition)

There’s only so much popularity that will go around, especially if your competition is out to stomp you for good. Additionally, what you need to become popular is rather important as well; however, who you’re in combat with can create an recreational rift between you and your so-called victory towards the top. (There are several ways that you can strategically get yourself to that top of the totem pole.) So, the more that you are willing to climb that ‘obstructing wall,’ the more that you are willing to topple as well. And it’s not only this, because you may find that you’re dealing with a problem of resources. Maybe you’re not able to outdo your competitors, or maybe you’ve simply found reason to reallocate your utility elsewhere … . (This can have an effect on you, but it can also effect others.) Your rise to the top can be made clear or worse because of your actions, too. Not only this, but you can also see that it may do you some real favors, even if your competition is utilizing the incorrect tactics. After all, it’s a winner’s game w/ no rules!!!

The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You’re Not Popular

10. Your Intelligence

In the end, it’s about what ultimately happens in real life as opposed to the act of thinking about what can “subjectively” happen. (Things will happen a certain way based on limitations within our universe no matter what.) Of course, some people enjoy intelligence (a busy mind), and other people are more controlled by their stupidity or incompetence. However, it’s never a one way street, as others may find one or the other more pleasant, and you may even see yourself stagnating between those two blurred lines. One one hand, you’re capable of winning the stupid crowd; however, you may also lose that “more cerebral” crowd that enjoys a nice taste of that Ivory Tower. Thankfully, you can gain a crowd with enough appeal from the lowest common denominator and your willingness to sell yourself out by using the right platforms. A few come to mind, i.e., YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Now, it’s not just their “algorithms,” but it’s also about using your intelligence to code your audience in with enough bull**** to entice them.

The 10 Dumbest Reasons Why You’re Not Popular

Ending

The end is nigh, but almost everything is left to some kind of crappy chance. (It’s the hard truth.) However, how we deal with reality can dictate otherwise, at least to some degree. Hell, you may even be able to accomplish a task (e.g., gain a lot of likes on social media) that makes you popular, but it ultimately boils down to nothing. It’s also what kind of popularity you want, be it with a lot of 1s and 0s or not. Do you want an artificially high number of likes, or something else that involves lap dances and escorts. Additionally, what dictates your popularity? Will you ever be satisfied, or will you be frothing at the mouth over maintaining your status quo? The answer is obviously up to you, but they are there to question on your way to the top. Furthermore, will it include a bunch of drugs, or will you find some kind of purpose in pleasing other people for no apparent gain. But, in spite of this, one thing is almost certainly clear, and that’s your willingness to understand why you never did the unthinkable to get there.
