The 10 Remarkable Ways to Be Intelligent

If we’re to talk about being smart, then we must first consider how being intelligent is somewhat different. “What is this difference?” you ask. Well, it’s practice versus innate ability, or it may even be your ability to learn versus what you have learned (knowledge vs. logic). Of course, they’re nearly one and the same; however, there are minute, distinct differences. After all, they both rely on one another to make the most of each of their particular concepts. (We obviously must discuss wisdom, intelligence, and knowledge as well.) Although things will slowly begin to pan out for you, there will be improvements in what you will see yourself not having, right? Anyway, these are the 10 remarkable ways to be intelligent!

The 10 Remarkable Ways to Be Intelligent

1. “Just Be It”

As many would say, “This is not remarkable advice,” but why undermine yourself with the hopes that it’s not really that simple or easy. However, (at the same time) why not make the most of it by truly understanding that there are words of wisdom here; it’s actually quite intelligent. In fact, the concept isn’t even difficult, and you may even find yourself getting things done without thinking about it sometimes — you just did/do it. (Some people may call this insolence a form of naivete.) With some time, simply make this a virulent force of habit, and you will see yourself “just doing it” without a worry in the world … .

2. Think Harder

Although we all can think ourselves into a frenzied fit, there’s nothing stopping us from thinking way too hard. It may be seen as the exact opposite as the previous item on this list; although, there’s more to it than just that. There’s also room to believe that thinking may or may not be a part of simply “going for it all.” However, if we’re to break down our understanding of “intelligence” into its constituent parts, then we must first THINK about it. From this, we can learn to think, and we may even begin to think harder, at least relatively speaking, than we did before. This will then become a matter of actual “efficiency.”

3. Moderate Yourself

If we think too hard for far too long, then we may begin to see ourselves struggle, albeit with some focus being learned. And, although we cannot make ourselves more intelligent per se, we can certainly learn to plan our days with more reasonable propriety. However, if we’re out of determination, then we will see this create a cascading effect that will only makes our lives harder to control with any kind of intuition. Of course, there’s no doubt that this seems rather mundane, but moderation is key to making life a little easier to understand. You, additionally, do not want to overwhelm yourself for long-term success.

4. Create Plans

While you’re sitting there and trying to make sense of your life, you can begin by making a routine or schedule. There’s nothing wrong with having a little self-help involved, and it’s certainly the smart thing to do. If we choose to always wait or procrastinate, then we will also see ourselves fall behind, which makes our planning that much more difficult to not obsess about. In turn, we will finally be able to have more free time to learn or adapt more; there’s always room for improvement. Of course, although we cannot necessarily improve our performance potential (our peak), we can certainly practice it more/better.

5. Seek the Truth

A lot of what we consider intelligence is really a matter only known through simple & relative comparisons. Of course, we can obviously know that a “genius” is smarter than a toad (or mental invalid); however, we must also understand that we shouldn’t make assumptions. (Even “intelligent” people make simple and seemingly dumb mistakes.) Unfortunately, the truth is often thrown to arbitration as we see ourselves stupidly undermine the facts; we must learn. We also tend to undermine but overvalue what we consider intelligence, including the salacious intellectuals who seek to defend their ivory towers.

6. Evade Misinformation

A lot of what we consider intelligence comes from our nurture over our nature. Although some people are born with some techniques earlier on, it doesn’t mean that other people cannot learn it as well. Thankfully, we can curate our intelligence later on, and it doesn’t have to be our burden to carry. We can also do this because of our ability to use the logical side of our brains. For example, if we want to avoid falling into the pitfalls of religion, we must learn to wash our brains of delusion. Unfortunately, what happens to us earlier on has an impact on our ability to let it go — the same goes for smarts.

7. Practice

Those whom become a problem will see themselves deal with more problems later on. However, if we wish to avoid these problems, then we must practice our deluge of knowledge (or wisdom). With some practice, we may even see ourselves naturally understanding more of what we should understand. Of course, a lot of what is important to know is not truly difficult to teach ourselves. In fact, a lot of the facts that we take for granted are often overlooked for something more savory. Although, if we wish to pursue something greater, i.e., our ability to learn, then we must first practice what can always help us.

8. Decide to Fail

Well, we can either look at this as a refusal to decidedly fail or a dedication to absolute failure. Although, for us to have the guts to display our abilities, we must at least try to stay on the bright side. We obviously do not need to call this complete failure; however, there’s nothing wrong with setting ourselves up to truly accept it. In fact, there’s always room for us to fail — a mindset for preventing self-destruction — so that we can overcome what quells our motivations. As stupid as it sounds, this silly little contrived reason is exactly what can make a difference in our ability to make smart, “intelligent” choices.

9. Choose Character

Although we are feeling machines first and foremost, it doesn’t mean that we are not to use our thinking brains. In fact, some of the most intelligent people choose to scheme their ways through their miserable lives. What do people do? Well, they can do a multitude of things: steal, cheat, and even murder. However, we can, at least for the most part, do the right thing by not scheming for ourselves. If this all seems like it’s a little too much, then maybe you need to choose character instead of selfishness. After all, there’s nothing wrong with finding principle where it matters and without the hassle of your ego.

10. Time

Without a properly trained mind, we may begin to see ourselves lose patience and even fumble. There’s also no doubt that we all need practice, training, and experience. In fact, the more that we have a will to wait, the more that we will see ourselves improve with time. (We all need time to improve our skills; thus, our ability to be “intelligent” increase.) Of course, this seems like a moot point; however, we have to understand this (even if it works for everyone). If we do, then we give ourselves time to improve without thinking about the side effects of our possible inexperience. In the end, it’s not wrong to wait!

Ending

As you can see, there are no shortage of ways to become smarter; although, it doesn’t mean that we cannot become more intelligent as well. Of course, it comes down to a matter of semantics more often than not; however, who is to stop us from. We must then look at how we can act and choose accordingly, especially when it comes to doing it with grace and practice. There’s also no doubt that we can be more wise, and, when combined, we can become the more intelligent person in any given situation. Not only will this make us better, but we will be smarter for it. And, if we check it out, it seems rather redundant; however, perspective matters, and there’s always perspective to gain. With this, we can improve, too!
