Of course, there is always room to inform ourselves, but the end result of information is another futile endeavor. While we are sitting here and feeling all grandiose about ourselves, there’s much to say about our circumstance. Even though we have an ego to drive us through the decrepit fog of futility, we cannot evade the truth. The truth, while a vapid statement, is that there is nowhere to go. “What does this mean?” you ask. Well, it means that you will not see yourself go anywhere beyond your basic desires. The hormones in your head, and the circumstance of staying on the planet. Even if you could escape, you would still be stuck playing the same game of catch up that leads to nowhere but suffering.

4. The Futility is Abundant
See it as you will, but the existence of stars and light barely make what we consider life more meaningful. Afterall, there are plenty of little things to comprehend, even if they make us uncomfortable. Even if we wanted things to be what they were in fantasy, the ideas are simply a pipedream of broken promises. There is obviously nowhere to go, and life is also a zero-sum game that leads to nowhere but more work and sacrifice. Of course, we all have that childlike joy in us, but there is only so much for us to do once we mature. It’s just too bad that most people do not see it this way quite yet.

5. There is Fakery Everywhere
The conception of blackholes and even time dilation seem reasonable; however, in reality, they’re kind of farfetched. In fact, they’re just another human trick that springs the creativity of abstract thinking upon everyone. Just like every “great mind” before them though, modern scientists take a lot of liberties with their so-called discoveries. The masses take their word, and we’re stuck with unreal notions or reality. Unfortunately, the people who are in charge of the current zeitgeist are allowed to think and perpetuate notions of science fiction. Although, in spite of this, at least we have our hands full at all times.

6. We Are Our Hormones
We obviously evolved through a process called evolution, and the independent facts of this reality make this clear. Beyond this though, there are not any self-replicating molecules out there that indicate life outside of the carbon-based neuron. We obviously have floating rocks and empty space, but this barely makes existence worth our time and commitment. Of course, any lamenting notions should be put aside because we can literally do nothing about this set of facts. The little things that we call our emotions are driven by neurotransmitters, and every fantastical thought that enters our head is just that.

7. We Are Going to End
At some point, there is no denying that human life and all life that we know of will disappear. Well, it’s obviously not just going to disappear, because it will be destroyed entirely off of the map. The cataclysmic event that causes this will not even be something that ends the entire universe though. However, it will likely be something more insignificant, being of an earth-sized scale and caused by ourselves. There will also be no way to avoid the catastrophe, and there is no hope to change this. Regardless of this, we are acceptably fine right now, but this will not remain a guarantee.

To say that people are self-centered would be an understatement. Of course, this statement is not hyperbole, and it only goes to show the ignorance that many people have. We think that we will last forever, and the oblivious idea comes from our existence. Then again, things can always change, but people tend to think that we can escape as well. Unfortunately, this is not going to happen, and leaving the planet is far from likely. If we cannot help ourselves though, then we can always live with ideas of a virtual reality. However, this does little about what can ultimately defeat us and our ambition.

Beyond the blatant pessimism, we have to understand that we will always be busy with fixing things. Even if we see the futility in doing this, there is no denying that it will not end as long as we are here. As long as we are here, there will always be things to do, even if we progress to the point of automation. This is where other questions can lead to conundrums about how we go about having any purpose. However, the quandaries are self-defeated by conquest and the DNA molecules desire for replication. To the molecule, it doesn’t matter if we are happy or survive, but there is little worry as to where it leads.

We all understand that the universe is vast, and to say that things simply go on forever is a variable truth. If we are going to accept even more, then we can understand that nothing is beyond our understanding. Yes, we are all a part of the universe, but we’re not all one consciousness. Of course, we have to work together, and we’re similar enough — we’re alive and have brains. To make this anything special though is another dubious claim made by people who seem to not have any clue as to what is going on here.
